End of the Year News Post Part 1

Part 1 of the end-of-the-year news!


Oujisama (warai) series
No real news here, but the latest post on the website that celebrates the release of the last Oujisama Date CD mentions that 2012 is almost over now but that they "hope for our support in 2013, when the series wll still continue". The second Radio CD will be out in Februari, but who knows what they might be planning besides that~



Shinsengumi Mokuhiroku Wasurenagusa
Besides the incredibly deadly third voice sample for Yamazaki his CD, voice samples for the official tokuten and the animate tokuten have been uploaded as well. The official tokuten (that you can get when you bought all 6 CDs is a 60min(!) full dummy head mic drama CD in which a short episode with each character is recorded. By the sound of it the CD is going to be a lot funnier than the main story (Heisuke his reaction when he walks in on you sitting in the bath is priceless, and it sounds like Kondo starts to announce something in an overdone fashion during the fade-out of his preview).

The animate tokuten (that you can get when you buy all 6CDs at animate) has all characters interact with each other. In the preview they are first arguing about whether they should write everyone's names on heir tabi (shoes) or not, after which Okita brings out the sake and everyone starts to drink. In the second part they seems to be bragging about how close they are with you while drinking, it ends with them planning to ask you who you like best....

Weekly News Post (part 1)

Once again, this news post is late because I was in London for the weekend. The main reason was to see the Final Fantasy Anniversary Concert, which was amazing! But I've also seen lots of the pretty architecture all over town, and went to see Top Hat on Saturday as well (I have a weakness for old movies and musicals). But on to the news, yes.



Oujisama (warai)

The cover for the third CD has been revealed on the official site. They will start releasing previews of the scenario somewhere later this month as well.






Otoko no Ko
The Otoko no Ko series is getting a manga adaption. It will be published at the Comic Zero Sum Online  site starting 2012.12.10 and will be illustrated bu Nerisuke. Hopefully the comic will raise some more popularity so that we will get another drama CD as well (^-^)

Mikkai -Secret Tryst-
The official site for Mikkai opened on Friday. As mentioned before, this series is about "a secret love that you can't mention to anyone". Now that the site is opened it further explains that there are time when even you love someone, you hide your feelings because of what the rest of the world might think. The Illustrations are done by 和田べこ (Wada Beko?), who also did the illustrations for Zoku Toriai Kyoudai. I was secretly hoping for the illustrator from Shuukan Soine.

Details for the first vol.1 are up as well. The subtitle is 不器用な口づけ (bukiyou na kuchizuke, akward/clumsy kisses) and the character is Niki Aoi (CV: Hino Satoshi), an 18year old high school student. His motto is taking it easy, and he hates rules. He likes teasing adults and making fun of them. There are no further detail on what the story will be like, but based on earlier rumours you likely take the role of his teacher. There are three button with a flower pattern that do nothing for now, but I'm guessing we'll see voice samples appear soon. As mentioned before the CD is planned for a 2012.12.21 release.

Soine Hitsuji CD      

The main visual for Soine Hitsuji CD Vol.4 has also been released. This time the illustration has a winter theme (I feel really silly for not realizing that the illustrations followed the seasons as a theme). No voice samples yet, but the CD is voiced by Shimono Hiro and is planned for a 2012.12.21 release as well.

News Post (Part 3)

I'm almost done with all of the news! I was all set on finally posting this on time, and then my parents internet died on meヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟ；). There is still some semi-old news mixed in here, but we're almost up-to-date again.



Therapia

The character designs and seiyuu for the third Therapia CD have been announced at the official site. To the right we have the smartphone therapia, who will be voiced by Hirakawa Daisuke. He is described as a very serious character. The other therapia for this CD is the mascara therapia, voiced by Toriumi Kousuke. He is described as being a bit of a narcist.


Ojisama Senka
The details for the 6th CD are out. This time a luxurious cruise ship strands in the middle of nowhere, and you get stuck in the engine room together with three charming older men. The self-confident director Goda Noriyuki (CV: Touchi Hiroki), the seemingly aloof but actually rather cynical travel essayist Amari Kyousuke (CV: Ebara Masashi), and the always calm and collected chairman Muranishi Kenichi (CV: Ishizuka Unshou). Will you manage to escape, and what will happen to the feelings that started to form under such extreme circumstances. We'll find out on 2012.09.26.

Kareshi Igai

Look, a Kareshi Igai 4 cover! I hope you had a good reason for leaving him in the first place, because that cover looks pretty tasty to me. Judging by the amount of tracks titled "Haru's House" you are visting his place quite a lot in this CD... Like mentioned before the CD is voiced by Miki Shinichirou, and will be released on 2012.09.28


Cineria
Meanwhile an extra icon has appeared on the official Cineria site. The new icon says "自由研究" (jiyuu kenkyuu, "independent research"), but you can't click on it yet and if you mouse over it changes into 'under construction'. On their blog they tease that they will reveal more details soon. They also tease a bit about the icon below that, which has been 'under construction' ever since the site opened.

Weekly News Post

This weeks news post is a bit long, because it merged with the one from last week. I just couldn't find the time to properly write a news post last week, and by the time I was three days late I decided it would probably be better to merge the two (^-^;;)

Double Score

The sample tracks for camellia have been uploaded to the official site. Especially the first one between Yousuke (CV: Toriumi Kousuke) and Yuuya (CV: Hirakawa Daisuke) is priceless. The second sample track where you are alone with Yousuke is just very cute. Yousuke his wallpaper is also available for download, it will be up until 2012.07.12, when the next CD will be released.


Zoku Toriai Kyoudai

The main visual for Zoku Toriai Kyoudai has been released, and if I wouldn't have been sold on the fact that this CD has Hirakawa Daisuke voicing two roles, the visuals would have done the job. Well played Black Butterfly, not only are you using one of my favourite seiyuu, you also managed to make the characters 100% my type.


Soine Hitsuji CD

The release date and cast for the second Soine Hitsuji CD has been announced. The second character Yuuichi will be voiced by Fujiwara Keiji, and is planned for a 2012.08.31release. Like many people said, I didn't expect to see Fujiwara-san listed as cast after seeing the character design, but we'll see how things turn out!

Shinsengumi Mokuhiroku Wasurenagusa
Rejet is working on something new: 新撰組黙秘録勿忘草 (Shinsengumi Mokuhiroku Wasurengusa, Shinesengumi Secret Files Forget-me-not, after this simply Wasurenagusa) is a series of situation CD's based on the Shinsengumi and the concept "what if I could have been there". The series will use the Dummy Head Mic.

6CD's have been planned for now: Saito Hajime (CV: Takahashi Naozumi) on 2012.07.25, Okita Souji (Image to the right, CV: Suzuku Tatsuhisa) on 2012.08.29, Kondou Isame (CV: Inoue Kazuhiko) on 2012.09.26, Toudou Heisuke (CV: Shimono Hiro) on 2012.10.31, Hijikata Toshizou (CV: Hosoya Yoshimasa) on 2012.11.28, and finally Yamazki Susumu (CV: Morikawa Toshiyuki) on 2012.12.26.

With each CD comes a ticket, if you buy all 6 you can apply for a special drama CD which has all of the characters interacting with each other. So far this seems to be a drama CD only series, but you never know what Rejet has planned for us...



Ojisama Senka
The cast for Ojisama Senka vol. 5 and 6 have been announced. Vol.5 will have Genda Tesshou, Hamada Kenji, and Tobita Nobuo. Vol.6 will have Ishizuka Unshou, Ebara Masashi, and Touichi Hiroki. The titles for both vol aren't final yet, but for now they are titled "itsumo no tokoro de" and "escape".

When the cast for vol.5 was announced it first said that it would be Hayami Shou instead of Tobita Nobuo, but one day later an apology saying that this was false. Tobita Nobuo was announced as cast one day after that. The apology mentions "a confirmation mistake on behalf of [his] agency" as the reason why he can no longer participate.

A mobile game on Gree has also been released, but unfortunately I have no further info on that.

Ojisama Senka
The love for ossan characters is really growing, and so the Ojisama Senka series continues! Three more volumes have been anounced, although vol.4 is the only one with a title as of yet: Family Business. You go undercover to investigate a certain organisation, but while you investigate you discover that three of the members are very charming; the broad minded head of the organisation (CV: Ginga Banjou), the distrustful manager (CV: Narita Ken), and the counsellor who seems to see through everything (CV: Uchida Yuuya). Vol.4 is planned for 2012.07.25.

Vol.5 and 6 are planned for 2012.08.29 and 2012.09.26, but no title or cast has been announced yet.




Koisuru Exorcist
EM2 (who are bringing us bathroom entertainment) are handling the dramatization of Koi suru Exorsist, a lightnovel written by the same author as the Hanaoni novels. Kuwashima Houkou, Horie Yui, Sakurai Takahiro, Kaji Yuuki, and Sugita Tomokazu are listed as cast members, and the release is planned for 2012.06.27.

Oujisama (warai)
Now that the Oujisama (warai) radio show has officially started airing, they have also announced a Radio CD. This CD will have the first 5 episodes, in which Cinderella, Rapunzel, the Emperor, Genji, and (the princes from) the little mermaid appear as guests, as well as a zadankai like in the drama CD's. The CD is Planned for 20012.08.22.


Risou Kareshi
Finally a bit more info on Risou Kareshi, and an official site. The characters are based on the results of an survey hold at the Animate Ikebukero store. I have no idea how the actual enquete looked, but the results are three different characters and their job, hobbies, personality, and even seiyuu.

The three characters are a 'cool' type (CV: Kamiya Hiroshi), a passionate type (CV: Ono Daisuke) and an amaenbo type (sweet, slightly spoiled. CV: unknown). It is interesting to see that while they have different personalities, certain things overlap. Both the cool and the amaenbo boyfriend have cooking as an hobby for example, while both the passionate and cool types are prone to showing tears...

Oujisama (warai)

A rough sketch of the tenth prince has been released. To the right is the prince from the Swam Lake. The quote beneath his picture on the site says "*cough*cough*.... Aaaah, if only you would bungee jump for me right this instant this nauseous feeling would calm down....".

Our prince has just reached marriageable age, and has decided to become engaged with his current girlfriend, but he is still searcher for a girl who will swear "true love" to him. He is rather sickly, and tends to cough up blood as soon as things are not in his favour. He loves to make flashy entrances, and whenever something is going on, a host club style BGM tends to play...

Next week they'll also publish a few excerpts from the scenario, so we'll get to see more of what he is like.



Perabu!
After two months of radio silence, The Perabu official site has been updated with two 4kom comics and a message saying that we "should look forward to info about a new release". So I suppose the series will continue? I wonder what kind of scenario they will have this time?

Otome Drama
To start off with some non-drama CD but heavily related (and late) info: in just a few days time (on 2012.02.29 to be exact) おとめドラ (otomedora) will be released. This is a mook (magazine x book crossover) that is all about drama CD's.

It will have about 128 pages and costs 1500yen. As of yet I've been unable to locate an official site, but judging by the cover it talk about drama CD's, seiyuu, and several interviews with seiyuu/makers. Amazon has it, so if you feel like reading up on your drama CD news and backgrounds, here is your chance. (I don't have a credit card so I'm looking for another way to get it)


Mousou Esthe

The cover for Mousou Este has been posted on their blog, and it is wonderfully suggestive as always. The post once again reminds us that we will be given a chance to experience the salon Babylon, but that Kagami Subaru (CV: Suwabe Junichi) will also do a treatment. In the first (or second?) CD, Babylon is described as "a salon with an atmosphere like a cafe". I wonder what it will be like?


Therapia
Vol.2 and 3 for Therapia have been announced. Vol.2 will have characters for Fabric Softener and Dressing (lol what?) and vol.3 Smartphone and Mascara. I think I will have to listen to 1 to get an idea on how this is going to work....

You might have noticed that there are some reviews missing in the last few days, that is because someone stole my earphones while I was at the gym, so I can't listen to stuff on the go until I've found a new pair of acceptable earphones. Sorry.


Mousou Este
Two more cast member have been announced: Itou Kentarou and Suzuku Tatsuhisa. The official staff blog also has a small line saying that this time it will be the estheticians from the beauty salon Babylon (rival salon to Entreinte, the salon from the previous entries to the series) that will do the treatments.


Amemakura
The seiyuu for Amemakura vol.5 and 6 will be Sugiyama Noriaki and Suzuki Tatsuhisa. Unfortunately there is no other info on the characters yet...
