News Post -Part 1-

Writing reviews and the news post on the go is a lot harder than I imagined. Even though I have my actual laptop and my iPad with me, finding the time to edit my random thoughts and ramblings into a properly formatted review is pretty hard.




Aroma na Kareshi
Now that vol.4 is out the next one has been announced through a digital flyer. The next character is the 17year old Kazu Watanuki (CV: Shimono Hiro) and his scent is vanilla. His family owns a cake shop and he loves making sweets, his dream is to become a patissier. He has a bright personality and is popular amongst both girls and guys.


Anata ga Ofuro de Noboseru
No new CD news, but an event. On 2013.03.02-03 there will be an event in the Orange Gallery in Ikebukuro displaying art from the series, including yet unpublished rough sketches and art made especially for this exhibit. The event is completely free, so if anyone happens to be in Tokyo during this time go and take a look (^-^) they will be selling the CDs and goods at the even as well. Sasayaki Micchaku

The official page for vol.5 is now online. Hosoya Yoshimasa his character is indeed called Chikasugi Taisuke (I almost guessed it right! I feel all accomplished now). The top of the page also reveals that the first press limited edition will have a free talk recorded with the dummy head mic as a bonus. The CD will be released on 2013.03.27.





Bungou Series

Looking at the titles for the third and fourth CDs it seems like they will be some sort of spin-off series to the main series. The third CD is titled 新作第1弾「不良文豪とホスト」 (shinsaku dai ikkan "furyou bungou to hosuto", New Work Vol.1 "The delinquent literary master and the Host") while the fourth CD is titled 新作第2弾「文豪の神様」 (shinsaku dai nikan "bungou to kamisama", New Work Vol.2 "The God of the literary master[s]"). 'Shinsaku' means something like 'new work' or 'latest work'.

The cover for the third CD has been released (the image to the right) as well as the information that Ono Daisuke will be joining the cast in the forth CD, playing the role of the writer Shiga Naoya. The CDs are planned for  2013.03.29 and 2013.05.?? releases.


Toubousha / 42gami
In celebration of the upcoming new releases of the Toubousha and 42gami series there will be a nico nico live broadcast with Morita Masakazu and Kimura Ryouta in which the two seiyuu will announce more info about both new CDs, as well as answer various questions from the listeners The broadcast is called "Toubousha 42 minutes" and will be available for one week starting 2013.01.24 (today)

The titles for the two upcoming CDs are already known: Toubousha Vol.3 Haruto, and 42gami Vol.3 Xylophone ~The End - The Last Love~ and will be voiced by Ishida Akira. If you go to TwoFive their official site you can already see rough sketches of the two characters. Both CDs are planned for a 2013.03.27 release.


Kindan Vanmpire

The official site has updated with the details on the 6th CD. The cover image as well as the tracklist are now online. The character this time is Alexander von Weiseheldenburg (CV: Tsuda Kenjirou). This time the theme language for the tracklist seems to be latin. (Considering that his name is Alexander, shouldn't thay have picked Greek instead?) The CD will be released on 2013.02.13, just before valentine (^-^)



Meganubu
The official site has been closed. The staff thanks everyone for their support over the last year, and say that 'hope to meet again somewhere'. I guess this means no more Meganebu, but it does look like they are moving on to a new project.

Weekly News Post

Oujisama (warai)
There are two preview tracks up for the upcoming Date CD Vol.1. The contents are largely the same as the scenarios that were revealed on the official site before. Actually hearing them is much better than just reading them though. Hearing Cinderella, Snow White, and Rapunzel together again just makes me really happy. Two more preview tracks will be added on 2012.10.16 and 2012.10.18.


Kindan Kyuuketsuki
The preview for Kindan Kyuuketsuki Vol.4 is up. Friedrich (CV: Tachibana Shinnosuke) basically just walks up to you and declares that he owns you before dragging you off xD. He seems to like teasing you a lot.

Weekly News Post

Meganebu!
The character page for the new character in Meganebu! Vol.3 is finally up. Suzuki Toru (CV: Inoue Gou) is a member of the science club and holds a grudge against Souma. His nickname is "number 3" because of the three people named Suzuki in the school, he was the one that placed lowest in the sports test. This is why Souma calls him "number 3" and also why Toru still holds a grudge against him after a year.


Hatoful Kareshi
The official blog confirms that they have sarted production on a new Hatoful Kareshi drama CD. The theme this time will be 'mamentine' (the in-game equivalent of valentine. On mamentine you give the pigeon you like beans instead of chocolate). No release date has been given yet, but the post states that more info will be released in the course of this month.

Weekly News Post

Hello there! Today’s news post comes with a few side notes. Next week there won’t be a news post because I am on a short vacation to Italy. I will do my best to make a news post in the weekend of 21-22 July but I can’t promise anything...

Because I’ll be busy with preparations for my second vacation: 4 weeks of Japan!! Which means that there won’t be any news posts from July 28 till August 18-ish, nor will I be able to reply to any comments or post anything on tumblr because I will be busy traveling around Japan trying to meet friends and bankrupting myself by buying lots of games and CD’s. (Which I won't be able to play or listen to until I get back, haha)

Because I already had an involuntary hiatus 2 months ago, I’m trying to keep the blog active during that time. But that means all posts will be queued so that they will post automatically. I will have to apologise for any spelling or grammar mistakes during that time. I’m currently working fulltime to be able to afford all of this, and I simply don’t have the time (or energy) to check them as thoroughly as I usually do.

And now, on to the actual news!!


Oujisama (warai)

I already interpreted the zadankai in the last CD as a confirmation that there would be more releases, and while they might be a little bit different from what I expected my wish has been fulfilled!!

Starting October 2012 three new CDs titled “Oujisama (warai) Date CD” will be released. There are now nine princes, so I’m guessing there will be three princes for each CD. Of course, as this is Oujisama (warai) that we are dealing with I doubt the CDs will be very serious, but just imagine dating some of them. This is going to be hilarious. More info will be released soon on the official site.

Also: the cover for the first Radio CD is on the right.

Hiatus is over!

I stay away for a month and blogger changes it's interface... It is now all stylish and very confusing xD

Prepare for one LONG news post. It is not going to be everything that I missed in this month, only the most important bits, but even that is going to be one loooooong list. So one mixed plate of old and new News, coming right up!!



Shuukan Soine:

a special volume, but essentially vol.13 of the Shuukan Soine series will be released on 2012.05.25 and will be voiced by Morikawa Toshiyuki. His character is described as someone "embracing you with a lot of love and a big heart". More then anything though, the character design is gorgeous.


Toriai Kyoudai
the series is continuing, but under the name 'zoku toriai kyoudai' (zoku essentially means 'continued'). There isn't much info on the characters yet, but this time Tachibana Shinnosuke and Terashima Takuma will be fighting over our love. Apparently the atmosphere will be slightly different from the previous two CD's, but in what way is unknown.

I come back from a busy week to find that my cue didn't function properly because I messed up some dates. Oops. There si no excuse for missing the news post though, so here it is:



Oujisama (warai)
The full cast for the next Oujisama CD is now known: Besides the Prince of the Swan lake (CV: Yusa Kouji), Rapunzel (CV: Ishida Akira), The Emperor (CV: Okiayu Ryoutarou) and Sleeping Beauty (CV: Onosaka Masaya) will me making an appearance. Of course Takemoto Eiji will once again be there as servant as well.

For those of you who have ordered the Oujisama (warai) Gakuen CD, frontierworks is holding an enquete. You need a password found on the product to be able to answer it though. It sounds like they are considering making another  Oujisama Gakuen CD if the reviews are positive, so I'm encouraging everyone to answer it!


Meganebu!
The first CD has just gone on sale in stores, and a vol.2 has just been announced. No details yet, except a message on the official site that the production has been confirmed.


Shimekiri CD
The character designs and info are up on the official site, and I have to say I like them. A LOT. But with Kazuki Yone doing the designs that shouldn't be surprising. Oshikiri Mamoru (CV: Okiayu Ryoutarou) is described as a calm and collected, honorary student, and regal type. Also, a tsundere. He is surprisingly soft-hearted, and not very good with unexpected situations, which is where his dere side shows.

Shimeno Susumu (CV: Konishi Katsuyuki) is described as big-hearted and cheerful, contrary to Mamoru he is exceptionally good with unexpected situations. However he does have a habit of being blunt when he gets mad, making him a tsundere (yup, the reverse of what we normally see).


Sleepx2
Cinera their new project is called "Sleepx2" but other than the title there is no new info on it, I hope they will update their official site soon. Their own site lists is as "Sleepx2 series", which probably means that if it is popular enough they'll make more CDs. For now the rest of the data stays the same, it will be released on 2012.05.25 and will be voiced by Fukuyama Jun.


Akazukin to Mayoi no Mori
Is getting a new drama CD. The CD is titled "Something Else" and will be released on 2012.04.27. A teaser site is open, but there isn't much to see yet.

Weekly News Post

You might have noticed that there are some reviews missing in the last few days, that is because someone stole my earphones while I was at the gym, so I can't listen to stuff on the go until I've found a new pair of acceptable earphones. Sorry.


Mousou Este
Two more cast member have been announced: Itou Kentarou and Suzuku Tatsuhisa. The official staff blog also has a small line saying that this time it will be the estheticians from the beauty salon Babylon (rival salon to Entreinte, the salon from the previous entries to the series) that will do the treatments.


Amemakura
The seiyuu for Amemakura vol.5 and 6 will be Sugiyama Noriaki and Suzuki Tatsuhisa. Unfortunately there is no other info on the characters yet...
