Therapia
The character designs and seiyuu for the third Therapia CD have been announced at the official site. To the right we have the smartphone therapia, who will be voiced by Hirakawa Daisuke. He is described as a very serious character. The other therapia for this CD is the mascara therapia, voiced by Toriumi Kousuke. He is described as being a bit of a narcist.
Ojisama Senka
The details for the 6th CD are out. This time a luxurious cruise ship strands in the middle of nowhere, and you get stuck in the engine room together with three charming older men. The self-confident director Goda Noriyuki (CV: Touchi Hiroki), the seemingly aloof but actually rather cynical travel essayist Amari Kyousuke (CV: Ebara Masashi), and the always calm and collected chairman Muranishi Kenichi (CV: Ishizuka Unshou). Will you manage to escape, and what will happen to the feelings that started to form under such extreme circumstances. We'll find out on 2012.09.26.
Anata ga Ofuro de Noboseru
I already reblogged this on tumblr, but here is the pretty cover again. This time we have a personification of Arima Onsen (CV: Fukuyama Jun). Unfortunately the official site doesn't give us any info about his personality though... Regardless, the CD will go on sale on 2012.09.26But there is more Ofuro news! The android app has been ported to the iPhone, and besides Kusatsu the characters for vol.2 (Noboribetsu) and vol.3(Misasa) are also available now. Luckily they are also available internationally, search for "noboseru" and you should find it. As soon as I get home to my own computer I am grabbing myself the Misasa app (and of course I'll write a review on it!)
Yandere Heaven
These have been up for quite a while now, but I thought I'd mention them anyways: the self-introduction tracks for the 6th Yandere Heaven CD are up. Katsumi sounds very likeable until he turns yandere. I'm not really convinced of Ayumu his yandere level yet (I prefer mine a bit more insane) but who knows how he'll act in the actual CD. The CD will be released in 4 days, on 2012.08.29
Jiyuu Kenkyuu
The page for Cineria their second series has opened giving us some new information. Our three main characters are high school students living in a rural town, the time is somewhere in the beginning of the '90s (mobile phones and internet are still a luxury). The school that the three main characters doesn't give homework for the summer, instead everyone has to do a research project. When the summer vacation has just started the three talk about whether two people that don't love each other would start to fall in love if they started dating, and decide to turn this into your summer research project.
The three main characters are two boys and a girl, and listener takes the place of the girl. Of course the two guys have opposite personalities, although they are of course different: Urabe Tsukasa (CV: Suzuki Tatsuhisa) his the more cheerful one who hates to study and loves rock music. He hates the rural place they live in because there is nothing to do and wants to leave for Tokyo as soon as possible. Suzuki Youhei (CV: Sakurai Takahiro) is a bit more gentle, although the way he talks doesn't differ much from Tsukasa. Youhei likes this town and doesn't plan on leaving it. He also likes the heroine.
Considering that they decide who will pretend to be dating you by a game of rock-paper-scissors and the fact that Youhei likes you from the start this has the potential to become one very heartbreaking story. (At least, I'm guessing that the 'A-ko' (nameless girl A) that Youhei likes is the heroine).
Kareshi Igai
While we are at Cineria: the top page for the Kareshi Igai series has changed into something... rather interesting. Besides having all of our Kareshi Igai characters in the sauna, the blog gives us some more interesting information: the image contains characters of unreleased works as well as characters that won't be featured. Even if almost all of the yet unknown characters would fall under the second category that means that there is at least one other Kareshi Igai CD planned.
Non-Fiction Series
Two of the characters for the second CD in this upcoming series have been announced. Just to refresh, the second CD is about the lives of two high school students (and their teachers). Ki(no)moto Routarou (CV: Yoshino Hiroyuki) is the moodmaker of the class, while Yagise Hiroki (? CV: Ishida Akira) is the one with the brilliant smile (who also likes the army. a bit). Judging by their looks I would have never bet on these two seiyuu. There is no info on what kind of story it will be though.
Hakotsume CD
All of the Hakotsume CDs have been delayed until further notice due to "circumstances concerning the production". It looks like they won't be shelved though, at the end of the announcement they also say that "the staff will put all their effort in using the extra time to make an even better product".
I was just getting interested in this, so I hope that they will announce a new release date soon. Meanwhile, we'll just have to be patient.
Double Score
The preview tracks for Double Score Tulip are up. This time the main character and your boyfriend is the idol Tomu (CV: KENN), and the subcharacter is Kirino Souya (CV: Seki Tomokazu). As always, the interaction between the two characters is brilliant. I wasn't really interested in either of the two characters for this CD until I heard the first preview track. The second one with just Tomu is very cute, and somehow very relaxed as well.Meanwhile two subcharacters for the series have been introduced on the official site as well. I don't know whether they will ever appear in any drama CD, but I'll introduce them anyway. Mori Kengo (CV: Kimura Ryouhei) is a classmate of the heroine since middle school. He works part time at Sakita his shop (the same shop were Souya also works). Aihara Miki (CV: Tomonaga Akane) is also a classmate of the heroine. She already has a boyfriend, and gives a lot of advice on relationships to the heroine.
Tenshi x Akuma
The series is being renewed for a second season. Once again three CDs will be released, the first one on 2012.11.21, the second on 2012.12.26 and the third one on 2013.01.23. Along with this announcement the missing cast members have also been announced: Uriel (CV: Koyasu Takehito), Raphael (CV: Hirakawa Daisuke), Sandalphon (CV: Shimono Hiro), Azrael (CV: Yusa Kouji). With the addition of these seiyuu the cast has officially become so awesome I can no longer ignore the series...
Lovers Only
the series will continue with vol.4, voiced by Suwabe Junichi. The setting this time is a fictional world that resembles 17th~18th century France. The story is about a couple that got married by coincidence (I am guessing that it was an arranged marriage). The two of them start to become more aware of each other and their relationships begins to change. The release is planned for 2012.10.25.
Kuroko no Basuke
a second drama CD is on its way. Kuroko no Basuke Sound Theater 2nd Games is planned for a 2012.11.14 release. Unfortunately the animate page only states that it is an adaption of the novel "Replace II", and I have no idea what that is about... I'm hoping for another silly plot like in the first CD though.
Kimikare
Otomate their PSP adaption of the mobile game Kimikare is getting a drama CD. Kimikare ~Shingakki~ Mini drama+ α will be released on 2012.09.05 (yes this was probably announced ages ago).
Puyo Puyo
The colourful game series is getting a drama CD. According to the description at animate only the characters from the first generation (of games) will be featured. I have no idea how you turn a tile matching / bubble popping game into a drama CD, but it looks like the drama CD will have various short stories and some bonus voice tracks. It seems like this is part of a 20year anniversary if I'm not mistaken. The CD will be released on 2012.09.13.
Ohhh a second KnB cd on Replace 2!!! That means it's most likely the Gakuensai story, which is one of the most fun stories I have read. You'll enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the info! That sounds like it'll be fun indeed :D
DeleteIf it's not, then I guess there will be other stories like the Seirin part time job.
DeleteThere's really a lot of characters (and some silly story) behind Puyo Puyo - it all began as a RPG series called Madou Monogatari, and later on, when the franchise took a turn to the puzzle genre, it came to be called Puyo Puyo, although featuring the same characters from the RPGs.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm so looking forward that CD ^^
Boohoo I can't find the 'noboseru' app on Google Play no matter what I search in Japanese characters or English or from the same developer. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteThat is odd, I had no problems finding them. But here are Kusatsu, Noboribetsu, and Misasa in the US shop if that helps.
