Also, in preparation for my Japan trip I've re-opened my personal blog (although everything from before is gone). I have no idea how regular the updates will be though. Also, I might post most of the fangirling here or on tumblr. Because my parents don't really need to know all my fangirl moments xD
Kindan Kyuuketsuki
the official site finally updated with more info on the next release: Kindan Kyuuketsuki ~Aobara no Kishi~ ("knight of the blue rose"). Several shops and magazines already listed the CD, but the official site was eerily silent. We now have some visuals with the knowledge that Yasumoto Hiroki will be voicing Rudolf von Weiseheldenburg, the next vampire. You apparently meet him on the battlefield... from where he kidnaps you. But other than that there is little info. Of course we all know what to expect by now. The CD is planned for a 2012.08.15 release.
Meanwhile, Animate already lists another entry to the series: Kindan Kyuuketsuki ~Kibara no Toganin~ ("criminal of the yellow rose") for a 2012.10.17 release. This time it will be Tachibana Shinnosuke who voices a vampire who's name I am guessing to be Friedrich.
Hatoful Kareshi
The new character appearing in the next Hatoful Kareshi CD will be voiced by Miki Shinichiro. Despite me saying I'd post an image in one of the previous news posts I completely forgot to actually post the image, so as an apology here it is.Choco Curage
Cineria is getting a sister label: Choco Curage. The works under the Cineria label are based on being close to reality, but those under the Choco Curage label will be fantasy based. The official blog says that they will announce the first project soon.
Kareshi Igai
Rumours about another Kareshi Igai were flying around for a while, but Cineria finally gave an official release date: 2012.09.28. Miki Shinichirou will be voicing your ex-boyfriend for this CD.
Double Score
The sample tracks for the Narcissus CD are up. This time we get 4 samples thanks to the CD having episodes for both Seiya and Rui (both voiced by Hirakawa Daisuke). The difference between them is in many ways amazing. Though I was possibly especially surprised by the fact that Seiya -of all people- fully intends to marry you.
The wallpaper for Rio is also up, and will be available until 2012.07.26 when it will be replaced by the next wallpaper.
Heart Supplement
Honey Bee is starting something new again: a series called "Heart Supplement". The slogan is "a supplement for those that try [for] tomorrow" A teaser site has been opened, but there is no info to be found there yet.
Stellaworth lists Yusa Kouji and Shimono Hiro as cast for the first CD, which is planned for a 2012.09.28 release according to the site. They also give "namida jikan" ("time of tears") as the title, and the description says it is a CD for when you feel like crying.
10nen Hatsukoi
Seems like Frillra is starting something new as well. 10nen Hatsukoi ("10 years first love") is a series that revolves around the youth and first loves of five guys that grew up in a small port city. Each CD will have scenes from the guys their school time, and 10 years later. The series will make use of the dummy head mic.
The first CD tells the story of Ikuno Ryouta (CV: Suzumura Kenichi) and Niida Kouhei (CV: Sakurai Takahiro). Ryouta is always kind and full of energy, popular with everyone in his class, while Kouhei is cold and reserved. During their school time Kouhei told Ryouta that he hates him, but they seem to be good friends 10 years later. What happened in between we will learn from the CD, which is planned for release somewhere this fall.
Arcana Famiglia
Looks like there are more drama CDs planned than just the Guida Regalo series. Arcana Famiglia Fes Rega CD ~La Dolce Vita~ is listed for a 2012.09.28 release. There is an AF game titles Festa Regalo planned for later this year, so I am guessing that is where the title comes from. From the description at the animate site it looks like all of the characters are joining a contest to see who can make the best sweets for Felicita.
Anata ga Ofuro de Noboseru
Ishida Akira will be the one to voice vol.6 of the onsen gijinka series. His character is based on Shuzenji Onsen, and the CD is planned for a 2012.08.29 release.
I should have seen it coming that Ishida-san would voice one of these. Not particularly excited, although I do love the cover.
Joshuseki Kareshi
I missed that a second CD for the Joshuseku Kareshi had been announced. This time you go on a drive with Sora (? CV: Terashima Takuma). You met him while while you were both taking driving lessons, and to celebrate that you both got your license you go on a drive date. The CD is planned for a 2012.08.27 release.
42Gami
I found the official site (no idea how long it has been online). Kimura Ryouhei his character is indeed calld Celesta. Full name: Celesta Tito Accardo, who is described as being amiable and having a habit of slacking off at work. But also that his favourite wea machine gun... Koyasu Takehito voices the Gatekeeper like I expected. This CD is titled "Vol.1 Celesta ~Tengoku kara no Invitation~ ("an invitation from heaven") and is planned for a 2012.08.08 release. Looks like they are planning to turn this in to a series.Toubousha
Turns out these two series are from the same company. I say series, because this CD is titled "Toubousha ~Yuuki Hen~" leaving a possibility for other CDs in the same series (編, hen, means chapter). The official site states 2012.08.08 as the release date, and the fugitive title character is Daiba Yuuki (CV: Morita Masakazu) who seems to be chased by something but his intentions are a mystery.
Kuriyamigatari
meanwhile, the official site for Kurayami-gatari has a promotion video up with a few scenes from the CD. These parts mostly seem to be lines from the stories that the story teller reads to you, which don't seem to be your regular fairytales. It really does give the impression of a dark story, and judging from a few lines in the PV, they've managed to slip in some ero as well.
so glad MikiShin's been participating in these things! I'm so excited!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Great news as always!
ReplyDeleteI'm also happy that we'll be able to hear more Miki-san in otome. With the new Hakuouki season running now, I do feel in need of his voice.
And Tsuda Kenjiro - finally! I've been waiting for this forever.
Will you continue writing full reviews about the Double Score drama CDs?
ReplyDeleteI was looking for more info on the series and luckily found your blog, but I've noticed you didn't post a review for Rio's CD yet.
Either way, thanks for the reviews on the first two volumes, I was able to understand it better after I've read those ^^
I am definitely going to continue those, but I'm on vacation right now so I can't write any new reviews. I'll definitely continue as soon as I get back though.
