Black Butterfly is starting a new series: Dousei Kareshi (dousei means "living together"). The series is all about living together with your boyfriend, but not just the sweet parts. As the intro page states: "Living together with someone, that is fun. hard. getting mad. fighting.hunting one another. and being happy. But even then, always wanting to be 'together'" The official site is just a teaser page at the moment, but I like the character designs and I'm curious how the series will turn out.
EDIT: Turns out Dousei Kareshi will be an otome game series, not a CD series! Dousei Kareshi will release in three games: Butterfly Lip, Butterfly Gloss, and Butterfly Rouge. Each game will feature a different character. As this is about living together with your boyfriend you already start out while dating, so I suppose there will be at least one bad ending (where you split up.
Diabolik Lovers Versus
If you thought the nose bleeding and fainting would stop now that Shuu his CD has been released you are mistaken. Rejet has just announced three new Dialover CD's: Diabolik Lovers Versus.
Each CD has two characters trying to win your
Tenshi x Akuma
On the side of the angels we have Metatron (CV: Miura Hiroaki), Michael (CV: Toriumi Kousuke), Gabriel (CV: Morikawa Toshiyuki), Uriel, Rafael, Sandalphon, and Azrael. On the side of the demons we have Satan (CV: Yasumoto Hiroki), Lucifer (CV: Nakai Kazuya), Belial (CV: Sakurai Takahiro), Azazel (CV: Kaji Yuuki), Belfegor (CV: Minagawa Junko), Beelzebub (CV: Okiayu Ryoutarou), and Mammon (CV: Fujiwara Keiji). While all of the demons their seiyuu are announced, a few of the angels still have ??? marks.
You can look up all of the angels and demons on wiki if you like, but it looks like they took a lot of artistic licence with creating the characters. Azreal (the angels of death) is a hikkikomori for example. Beelzebub is described as loving food (by the looks of it, especially sweets), and Sandalphon is an otaku. Some of them also have some very... colourful designs.
Three CD's are planned for release. Vol.1 on 20120.06.25, Vol.2 on 2012.07.25, and Vol.3 somewhere in August 2012. There are two interesting things about the three CD's: the first is that the four angels that don't have their seiyuu announced at the moment are not mentioned as main cast in any of these three CD's. Instead al three of them do mention an "and others" among the cast. The second is that all three CD's have a different scenario writer, one of them being one of the writers that worked on Corpse Party (a horror game well know for it's colourful descriptions during the many many horrible death scenes). This looks like it is going to be a more comical series though.
Two preview tracks for Suo (CV: Tachibana Shinnosuke) have been uploaded on his CD page. The first one one where he is talking with the company director Souichirou (CV: Nakata Jouji) is quite hilarious. The second one is a bit too sweet for my taste, but Suo his internal monologue is quite funny.
Lily of the Valley, Ninomiya Souichirou (CV: Nakata Jouji) his CD has him going on a date with the heroine. While waiting for her he runs into Sakita Takuto (CV: Fujiwara Keiji), who is impressed that Souichirou is able to find the time to go on a date. During the date Souichirou and the heroine go shopping for a dress for her to wear to an important party that night. Souichirou is 46, making him 29 years older than the heroine (dear lord, that is just....). Luckily he himself seems to feel slightly uneasy about is as well.
In Takuto his CD 'Rose' on the other hand, Rio (CV: Ookawa Tohru) comes to visit his cafe, and teases him about his new girlfriend. Takuto his cafe is on the first floor of the mansion where the heroine lives, which is probably how you met. In his introduction voice he says that it is a cafe during the day and a bar at night, so exactly how you are supposed to have a date "after he has finished his work" is a mystery to me. Unless someone else closes the shop maybe.
Momo & Grapes
MomoGre is releasing drama CD later this month: Les Miserables. Except for the release date of 2012.06.28 and two of the seiyuu, Onosaka Mayasa as Jean Valjean and Koyasu Takehito as Javert, not much is known. I'm secretly hoping that this will be the next entry in their Men's Only series.
You're going to Belgium for the sweets -wafels and chocolate, obviously- and the Netherlands for the flowers. We're both too small to spend an entire honeymoon, ahahahaha. Sorry, I live in the Netherlands so I'm kind of excited to see what the CD will be like, and what kind of stuff they will mention.
