The covers for Oujisama (warai) Gakuen and Oujisama (warai) Variety 2nd Season have been uploaded on the official site. I like the cover for Oujisama (warai) Gakuen a lot, but compared the the 1st Vacation CD, doesn't the cover for 2nd Season look a bit simple?
Bokutachi Otoko no Ko
A new episode in the lives of our three little cross-dressing idols has been announced: ”Bokutachi Otoko no Ko ~Masaka no Scandal~. Not much info about the plot yet, except that as the title implies there will probably be some sort of scandal.
Penguin Wenishi
on 2011.12.10 the official site for Penguin Wenishi will officially open (if you go there now you will only see an announcement page). I'm still really interested in how this story 'in which penguins pay are large role' will turn out like so I hope there will be some new info.
Diabolik Lovers
Animate also has a special page for Diabolik Lovers. There is no new information except for a PV. Which you should really go and watch. The PV gives us a slight glimpse of what to expect from the characters. Judging by the sounds, they really will be sucking your blood. And interestingly enough you also catch a little glimpse of what the heroine will most likely look like in the upcoming game.
Tap Trap Love
Still not much info on Tap Trap Love around, but at least we can have a look at the characters now. Am I the only one thinking that it would be nice if they would turn this into a game too?
or maybe I should spell it as 'Nekoto Danshi'? I don't know. Either 
way, the second season of this series features Hino Satashi and Tachibana Shinnosuke as cats.
Apparently it is a '癒し系' (healing, soothing) type CD with cats as the main characters. According to the artist that did the artwork for the covers the first one was based on a Scottish Fold (You know, the cats with the cute folded ears) and the second one was 'based on a cat that almost looked like a model'. This is purely about the artwork though, it might have nothing to do with the personalities of the characters, err, cats.
To be honest, I have no idea what to expect. The first series mixed cats with dialects and used female seiyuu, but I had never even heard of it until I found this. Whatever the contents will be, the CDs will be released on 2012.01.18
Bakumatsu Shishi no Renai Jijou
the mobile game Bakumatsu Shishi no Renai Jijou is getting a drama CD. Judging by the description, each of the warlords featured in the world will read you a part from the Genji Monogatari. The cast is nothing to complain about either: Sakamoto Ryouma (CV: Seki Tomokazu), Takeichi Hanpeita (CV: Okiayu Ryoutarou), Okada Izou (CV: Miki Shinichirou), Nakaoka Shintarou (CV: Suzumura Kenichi), Takaoka Shinsaku (CV: Seki Toshihiko), Katsura Kogorou (CV: Sakurai Takahiro), Ookubo Toshimitsu (CV: Koyasu Takehito), talk about a star cast... So yes, this features historical figures in probably completely fictional settings.

I agree with you on the cover of the 2nd Variety Drama CD. I really don't get the winter vibe from this one. And Kaeru-san's face...(=_=)
ReplyDeleteThe cover for the Gakuen CD is nice though. This CD is definitely on my to-buy list for early next year. Hope they post some track previews on Animate! (>w<)
