Weekly News Post

Well, it seems like I am in my usual begin-of-the-month-slow-posting-syndrome. That, and classes have started again so I need a little while to adjust to my new living schedule (it has been months since I've been to any classes)

But now, on to the news:

Lip Aura
seems like an interesting project. According to the official site the project will somehow blend a drama CD story stocked with high profile voice actors, with songs performed by expressive artists. The description made me assume that it would be one CD, yet the official page shows two different releases that are somehow intertwined.

Aroma na Kareshi
a boyfriend based on the effects of a certain aroma, that is the theme of this new series. Our first boyfriend is called Fujimori Yuichi (CV: Nojima Kenji) and is based on the aroma of lavender. Exactly how the sweet natured, helpful, and good-at-presentations Yuichi is based on the scent of lavender I'm not sure, but I am curious to find out. 2011.10.21 is the day we'll be able to discover exactly what kind of person he is.

Weekly News Post

Full Score 2
The official site has been updated with cast comments and the first preview for the first CD of the second season (you can find both on the right side of the main page, just click on the respective banners)

Brothers Conflict
The same goes for Brothers Conflict, preview tracks for the first CD have been uploaded, so take a peek if you're interested!

Frontierworks
has updated their official site with the releases for november. For now I can't find much of interest yet, except for a new Rikei Danshi drama CD and a DJCD for Perabu!.

More interesting in one of the releases listed for Oktober: Halloween Town. If I'm not mistaken, Halloween Town is an otome game for mobile phones, and the drama CD will feature completely new content.

That is all for today~

Kuro to Kin no Akanai Kagi Vol.1 Ikuto & Yukio

黒と金の開かない鍵。 ドラマCD 第1弾 郁人&透央

Company: Frontierworks / Little Cheese
Based on: Game
Released: 2011.07.29
Official Site: http://little-cheese.jp/black-gold/

Kuro to Kin no Akanai Kagi is a PC H-Game by Little Cheese. This is the first of two drama CD's related to the game. Each CD features two characters from the game, and has an (ero) scene for each character. I'm not entirely sure whether these are newly recorded stories for the drama CD or scenes that were already in the game.

The first story centers on your half brother Ikuto (CV: Satoshi Hino). You were supposed to go on a ski trip, but due to the bus getting stuck because of heavy snowfall the trip is cancelled and you return home the same day... to find Ikuto sleeping in your bed. Still half asleep and convinced that you are an illusion because you should be away, Ikuto decides to have his way with you.

Ikuto freaks me out a little actually. Before he assaults you he has a dialogue between his own good and evil personalities, and I can't say he's being really gentle with you. Although I have to say that your own reaction lacks a bit of spirit as well.

The second story centers on Yukio (CV: Toriumi Kousuke). The two of you are already dating, and are on an organized trip to find fireflies. However you get separated from the group and horribly lost. However after being lost for a while you actually manage to find a whole field full of fireflies, and making out ensues (do not ask me for the logic, ok?)

Yukio his personality is actually quite amusing, he's a bit of a stress-ball. The story is a bit chaotic, though that might have been intended. There is more humor in this story, and the setting is much more lighthearted to begin with.

As for the H-scenes themselves, there is a reason I don't play these games and that is mostly because of scenes like this. I find them to be too unrealistic :P But, and I have to admit that, they do sound very sexy at some points xD

The CD comes with a booklet with the entire script in it, so you can read along. Each story has a female voice on and off version, so if you choose to listen to the voice off one you can read along so you can still understand what is going on. The heroine (CV: Hoshizaki Iria) has a cute voice, and personally I don't find it annoying so listening with voice on is a good option as well.

Conclusion:
Basically this is just a H-scene extension for the game. If you like the game you should listen to it, for others this isn't really interesting. There is no character development what-so-ever, it is simply an excuse for smut :P
