December News Post Vol.1

And then, out of nowhere, a news post!!! :D

I will not say it is weekly or anything, but for now it is here. And hopefully more will follow. The tiny numbers next to a series title link to tumblr posts with related translations.


Kyuuketsuki Darling
The Kyuuketsuki Darling website updated with a banner that leads to a blog post with info about the upcoming fandisks. Yes, Fandisks. Three of them are planned for now, to be released somewhere in spring 2014, and they are a sort of epilogue or after story to the original CDs.

- Vol.1: Remi Barrier (CV; Nakai Kazuya) & Tsukioka Haruki (CV: Kimura Ryouhei)
- Vol.2: William Edwards (CV: Yoshino Hiroyuki) & Azer Aslan (CV: Okamoto Nobuhiko)
- Vol.3: Katagiri Ryuuji (CV: Ono Yuuki) & Sakuraba Ryuuto (CV: Taniyama Kishou)

The Marine Entertainment website also lists "others" for each CD, so maybe more characters will appear in each CD, but it is safe to say that the two listed will be the main focus.



Fantasy Kareshi ~Dive into Fairytale~ [1][2]
Animate and Marine Entertainment are teaming up for another collaboration (their first one was Risou Kareshi). This time you become the heroine of a well known fairytale, and for each fairytale there are two characters you can fall in love with.

In the Peter Pan story you become Wendy, and you can choose between Peter and Captain Hook. In Red Riding Hood you become the titular Little Red Riding Hood, and you can choose between the Hunter (Rolan) and the Wolf (Ruu? Lou?), and finally in Hansel and Gretel you become Gretel, and you can choose between Hansel and the Magician. They turned Hansel into your half brother for this series (and the witch into a male magician). 6 CD's have been planned for now, so probably one for each character.

The seiyuu for this series have already been decided; Oosaka Ryouta, Ono Yuuki, Shimono Hiro, Suwabe Junichi, Taniyama Kishou, and Toriumi Kousuke.

But who will voice which character is up to us to decide! Animate and Marine entertainment are currently running an survey where you can choose who will voice which role. The web version can be found here. I translated all of the character descriptions in case you want to consider those while voting. Details about the voting process are also in that post.

The results of the survey will be posted somewhere in February next year, so I am guessing the releases will start several months after that. It is a long wait, but probably worth it considering that we get a say in which role the seiyuu will voice.



SxM Town [1][2]
Em2 Records (Anata ga Ofuro de Noboseru, Anata wo Misshitsu de Torishiraberu) is starting a new series.

The catchphrase is

貴女は自分の中に寝る本性を知ることになる　エスエムタウン
Anata ha jibun no naka ni neru honsei wo shiru koto ni naru SxM Town

You will learn what real nature is sleeping inside of you in the SxM Town

However the series will be released winter next year, so we will have to wait quite a while. According to the website there will be info in the B's Log that will release later this month.

Speaking of Em2, their official blog has moved to Facebook as of today. This makes it a lot easier to follow, but I'm kind of hesitant about following it. I don't really need all the people on facebook to know about this particular hobby....



BULLET [1]

Cineria started a new sub-brand with the following concept:

ＢＵＬＬＥＴのブランドコンセプトは
乙女のための大人の恋愛シチュエーションです。

The Brand Concept for bullet is
Mature Romance Situations for Women

So in other words, Bullet is an R-18 brand by Cineria.

Best prepare to throw any virginity your ears have left overboard because I have no doubt there will be none left after this. Their first project will be.....




Futari no Himitsu [1][2]
This series, which roughly translates to "Our Secret" is based on the concept of ”a secret that you share with your boyfriend”. That secret can be something that is focussed on him, for example:

・He looks scary, but when it is just the two of you he uses baby talk
・ Even though he says he is an S he is an incredible M
・ It turns out he loves stockings very much

Or, a secret that you share
・You are keeping it a secret but you actually met on a dating site
・You are dating your high school teacher


And of course it will be a R-18 series, so the love scenes with your boyfriend won’t end at only kissing. The first CD is to be released in January, and will feature a boyfriend who is secretly an M, voiced by 下田ヒロシとハッピーターンズ (Shimoda Hiroshi to Happy Turns(?) = Shimowada Hiroki).

The second CD will be released in February and will feature a boyfriend who is good at teasing, voiced by Kurose Takaya (= Kuroda Takaya).


Akogare no Otonari-san [1][2]
e-animedia / Gakken their endless list of "Akogare no" series continues with "Akogare no Otonari-san", which is all about the character who live in a certain mansion - and the actual rooms of the seiyuu that voice them.

Each CD has two parts, a drama part where you fall in love with one of the residents and a talk part where Yonaga Tsubasa (who voices the caretaker in the drama part) talks with the seiyuu who voiced the main guy about their lives and rooms.

The first CD has Tachibana Shinnosuke as a slightly forceful designer. You just moved in to your new apartment, and somehow end up buying new furniture together with the guy living next to you. (I am sorry, this is all the information they give on the plot).

The second CD has Ono Daisuke as a friendly kindergarten teacher. This time you are someone who is not very good at expressing your emotions in an earnest manner, and you suddenly get invited on a date to the amusement park by your neighbour. You are not that enthusiastic about it, but seeing him interact with a lost child you start to get attracted to him... However, the ferris wheel that you got on together suddenly stops, and to make things worse a thunderstorm starts. This is when he gently hugs you when you are trembling with fear….

While the first CD did not say anything about this, the second CD will use the dummy head mic. I don't know whether that means the rest of the series will use it too, or that it is just a one time thing.





Yumemidori Nostalgia
The teaser site doesn't’t tell us much, but apparently it is a illustrated and voiced romance novel app by Kirishima Sou.

So I guess… something like a voiced lightnovel for your phone? But if Kirishima Sou is the creator and editor, I guess it will have her artwork as well :3

Hajimete no Yoru [1]

The official blog updated with the cover and tracklist of the CD.

The tracklist follows a sort of standard pattern going from coming home > dinner > bath time > bedtime > pillow talk > morning. There is a bonus track titled "the first...." which I secretly suspect to be either something really cute or really hilarious. 

The first press comes with a bonus cast talk, which is recorded with the dummy head mic.
