It is my birthday today! Yaaaaaay, happy birthday to me!! v(≧∇≦)v ｲｪｪ~
That means I'm now officially 22, whoohooo. I don't know whether to feel old or young. I feel old lately, but I'm still young? (>∇<)

A recent blog post from the official site drew my attention to something interesting. The new character Ooe Tadashi is voice by Taniyama Kisho. But that means that he voices two roles in the upcoming season. Hmmm... The blog post just states that "there is a reason why he [Taniyama] voices these two roles, which will become clear in the drama CD. "
Oujisama (warai) series vol.5
The next entry to the Oujisama (warai) series was announced at the Prince Festival event that was held last Sunday. So this will be vol.5, and the prince this time will be from the Little Mermaid. They also announced who will be voicing him: Morikawa Toshiyuki. The release is planned for 2011.10.26, but they are still writing the script at the moment.

Weekly News Post
Good morning, it is 8:00am, this is the morning news.
And we've already reached July! That means all reviews from last month have been added to the review page. I didn't manage to keep to the 1 review a day schedule but I've been trying! And this month I'll just try a little harder to actually make it.
There is also a new blog page: the glossary. Basically a huge list of drama CD related words and their explanation, so that you don't have to be confused when I start using exotic words. An everlasting work in progress, probably. There is another new page planned, but that remains a little secret for now.
Shuukan Soine
I already had my laugh when the first Shuukan Soine pillow covers went on sale, but vol.5 and 6 have their own covers, and pre-orders have opened. Pre-orders end on the 31st of July. You can only order them if you live in Japan though.
Momogre
It looks like momogre (Momo & Grapes Company) is on a nice monthly schedule with releasing more drama CD's based on famous literary works. The next one is called 十五少年漂流記～二年間の夏休み～ (Juugo shounen hyouryuuki ~ninenkan no natsuyasumi~ , the drifting chronicles of 15 boys ~a two year summer vacation~) and will be released 2011.07.28 and is an adaption of Jules Verne his book "Two Years' Vacation"
Another release is set for august: ドラキュラ～ふたりの吸血鬼～ (dorkyura ~futari no kyuuketsuki~, Dracula ~two vampires~). The story summary states that "Alexander and van Helsing are chasing Count Dracula, who is chasing after a girl named Mina because she looks exactly like his long dead beloved. While the Count his right hand Mikael (Michael?) does his best to obstruct their path, Alexander and van Helsing manage to track down the Count...

Weekly News Post
To prevent myself from spamming everybody with tiny news updates, I've decided to make a weekly news update every Friday. Downside to this is that it might take a little longer bring the news, but on the other hand it is all conveniently in one post, I don't have to spam multiple updates a day, and you can start the weekend with a whole bunch of good news.
Blog updates and changes
Little changes here and there, some new banners have been added in the banner madness, slight changes to the about page, and a switch back to post titles in romaji. I figured that it makes no sense to post them in kanji, as all my reviews are in English. The Kanji titles are still included in the posts however, so with the search function you can still search for them. I am also trying to find a better way of listing all of the tags, because it is becoming one looooong list by now.
I've also enabled the mobile version for this blog, meaning that when you open it on a mobile device a more compact and lighter version will open. It is still far from perfect (the background is a default one, for one thing) but it makes reading posts on the go a lot easier.
Kannou Mukashi Banashi Portable
The site for Kannou Portable has officially opened, giving us a bit more information on how this series is being tuned into a game. According to the site the game will include 7 stories from Kannou Mukashi Banashi. In each one the listener will take the role of the heroine. Depending on the choices you make during each story it is possible to obtain a completely different ending than the original story. Of course the dummy head mike will be used in the game as well.
Inoue Kazuhiko acts as our guide as always, and 6 of the stories included have also been announced, one from each volume of the first series of the drama CD. In order they are: Issun Boushi, The Little Mermaid, Banchou Sarayashiki, Hansel and Gretel, Leda and the Swan, and Hosokawa Tadaoka. The original Seiyuu returns for each story. However there is no info on whether the 7th story is done by Inoue Kazuhiko, or what it will be. (for reference, he originally voiced "Tsuru no Ongaeshi"in the first Kannou Mukashi Banashi, but as Issun Boushi is already included I expect he will be voicing something different).
This line-up means that both Sakurai Takahiro and Hirakawa Daisuke (my favorite voice actors) will be in this (ﾟ∇ﾟ☆). Despite me being slightly disappointed with Sakurai his story last time, I am looking forward to this. And considering the damage done by Hirakawa-san in the original drama, I'm expecting a death by nosebleed.

News: 調律葬交 Zyklus;CODE
Last week the site for Zyklus; CODE officially opened, still without information on the seiyuu but with more information on the story and characters. However the seiyuu have been announced during Comic City the same day the site opened, so their names are floating around on the web.
Story-wise the description on the site is still rather vague. The story page doesn't mention much that makes sense:

Don't worry if it doesn't make sense yet, it makes little sense to me as well. lets just assume that music and death and rebirth are important themes, and that there is a biologic (or 'living' if you take it a bit more literally) weapon (ﾟ∇^*)
Where the biological weapon comes in is not hard to guess, only two characters have been announced so far, and Petrouchka (CV: Saitou Chiwa) her character bio states that it has been "98 days since she was manufactured". Apparently she has lost her ability to sense beautiful music and due to a turn of event was taken in by our second character;
Shiryuu Rentarou (CV: Terashima Takuma). Who builds the worst music organs in town, and needless to say doesn't manage to sell them either. Other than that his character bio states that he isn't used to dealing with woman, nor tries to understand them. And that he is a heavy smoker.
I am now trying to imagine Terashima doing a heavy smoker voice, and failing. The cast really surprised me. No Sakurai yet, and if we are talking about a heavy smoker character I would have bet my money on Hirata Hiroaki (because Ninomiya Ai loves using the same seiyuu in many of her works). Still, I'm confident that both of them will still show up somewhere in the castlist.

Review page updated + news
All reviews from April have been added to the review page. Didn't manage to post a review every day, but I got close so on the the next month!! There is a lot of new stuff that I want to listen to, so expect new stuff mixed in!
In other news:
The Oujisama (warai) page has been updated with the announcement of an event in july. Although you have to be in Japan to be able to go of course, but if you can't just go and take a look at the new image on top of the page, it is adorable.
The homepage for Zyklus Code will officially open tomorrow, so don't forget to check, although I'm bound to post about it to remember you again ;)
Kannou Jikan 4 has been confirmed for release. The only description that the homepage gives us for now is that "even though his hair is red, his theme color is yellow" and "the setting is more mysterious this time". Messesanoh is proving useful again, as it already shows us the cover, full title and seiyuu. The title is 感応時間4 ～ねじ巻き 帽子屋の観劇ショー～ (Kannou Jikan 4 ~nejimaki boushiya no kangekishoo~ Kannou Jikan 4 ~The show of the clock winding hatter) and the seiyuu this time is Morikawa Toshiyuki, the recordings will start next week right after Golden Week.. I'm just hoping they are improving again, or this will be the second negative review on the site.

News: 調律葬交 Zyklus;CODE
I actually saw the announcement for this before but forgot to post it, but it looks like IM Label is starting a new series; 調律葬交 Zyklus; CODE. (I'm guessing the reading is Chouritsu Soukou Zyklus; CODE)
The official site opened the 14th, but except for a sneak preview on the story and the message that the site will officially open on 2011.05.03 there is not much to see yet.
It looks like the story will have something to do with music, or 'scores'. As this is IM Label we can bet on it that Sakurai will be in it, and I hope he will be, as protagonist.
