Aisaresugite xx Sarechau CD - Gekiama Joushi

愛されすぎて××されちゃうCD 『激甘上司』

Label: Melty Drop
Based on: Original
Released: 2013.08.23
Official site

Aisaresugite xx Sarechau is a CD series where you are ''loved too much by your boyfriend''. There are two versions for each release – a sweet version and a more twisted version. Both versions start the same and have similar situations, but are slightly different. Vol.2 has Hirai Tatsuya (= Hirakawa Daisuke) as your boss at work.

At the start of the CD you nearly collapse from stress after working way too hard. However, your boss notices that you have a fever and sends you home. A few days later you go drinking together to celebrate you that recovered. While you are out drinking there is a fire at your apartment building and because it is the middle of the night and you have nowhere else to go he offers you a spare room in his apartment.

You end up staying there for a while searching for a new place. When you've found one and tell him you will sign the contract soon, he asks you whether you don’t want to stay at his place instead and confesses his feelings for you. In this version you accept and you start living together.

The rest of the CD are three scenes of your life together. The first is when you return from a meeting, and he takes you into a different meeting room so that you can report the details. And so that you can be alone of course. You confront him about his relationship with a colleague, but he tells you that those are just rumours, and tells you how much he loves and trusts you instead.

The second scene is on a business trip together. Because this is your first business trip you are too conscious about everything and end up getting a fever because of the stress. Luckily you have the sweetest boyfriend in the world to take care of you.

The last scene also appears in the Kichiku version; You were working overtime in the weekend, and a kouhai was helping you. Your kouhai has already left by the time your boyfriend arrives with lunch (and feeds it to you xD). He worries that the kouhai might like you, and grows slightly jealous. He ends up taking you into a meeting room, saying that it might be his fault for not showing how much he loves you enough, and you end up doing it right there.

On the taxi ride home he falls asleep on your shoulder, which is probably the most adorable moment in the entire CD.

This CD is sweet! The story may not be very original – due to circumstances you end up living together with someone and end up falling in love, with an added bonus of the guy already falling in love long before that. The CD pays more attention to the time afterwards though, and those scenes are super sweet.
The effect of the dummy head mic is most obvious when he is whispering something close to you, and I literally mean whispering. My biggest problem with the H scenes are the squelchy sounds. I don’t know whether it is false modesty or that they tend to distract me, they make me uneasy. Besides that the H is somewhat subdued, despite being fairly desciptive. And they eventually do fade out.

Conclusion:
Having listened to the Kichiku version first I never expected this CD to be this sweet. It feels like a completely different series. If you plan on listening to both it is probably best to listen to this one first, otherwise certain sentences might trigger flashbacks to the other version. Although I suppose there is something to be said for listening to this to heal any wounds the Kichiku version will might inflict.

If you’re not sure about listening to this one: give it a try, it is more sweet than anything else. You could always skip the H part if that really isn't your thing.

Open for business once again

There is no time like the present to do things, so here we go!

While I initially planned to have more reviews written and ready to post for my re-opening, that didn't work out (surprise surprise). Currently there are about 7 reviews in the release que, waiting to be published automatically. I wanted to have a few more, just to be on the safe side in case I didn't manage to write anything for a week. But I didn't want to stall any longer, so I will just have to work a bit harder with writing reviews!

But be warned! To get back into writing I started with listening to CDs that really interested me. Which resulted in a Hirarin marathon  xD

So be prepared for A LOT of Hirakawa Daisuke related reviews, mwahahahaha!!!

Januari News Post Vol.2

All of the Januari news up to today.

Micchacku CD More
The Sasayaki Micchaku Series continues! But under a different name.

The continuation of the series is called Micchaku CD More. The concept this time is that the main guy in each CD wants to get closer to you, but is not sure how to do this. Of course the dummy head mic is also back, it wouldn't be a 'micchaku' (close contact) CD without it.

Four CDs have been planned for now;
- vol.1 とある国の王様の場合
(to aru kuni no ousama no baai, the case of a certain country’s king)
- vol.2 とある名家の執事の場合
(to aru meika no shitsuji no baai, the case of a certain distinguished family their butler)
- vol.3 とあるカメラマンの場合
(to are kameraman no baai, the case of a certain camera man)
- vol.4 とあるピアニストの場合
(to aru pianisuto no baai, the case of a certain pianist)

No release date or seiyuu have been announced yet, but the website mentions ”spring 2014” for the releases. If you buy all of the CDs you can get a special disk with cast comments by all of the seiyuu.

Aroma na Kareshi
This series always remains silent, and then it suddenly ninja-announces the next CD, haha.

The theme scent for the 7th CD in the series is 'rosewood', and your boyfriend this time is Yahara Sou (CV: Sakurai Takahiro). Sou is the owner of the flowershop and arrangement atelier where you work, and is so popular that it is near impossible to get a reservation for one of his classes. You are secretly dating, but keeping this a secret from all of the customers.

The CD is planned for a 2014.04.25 release.

Januari News Post Vol.1

All of the news from the second half of December until Januari 1st.

Mouhou Shounen Magic Heart.
Two Five is a starting a new series called Mouhou Shounen Magic Heart which is all about... Magical Boys! We are probably all familiar with Magical Girls like Sailor Moon / Card Captor Sakura/ Wedding Peach / name-any-nostalgic-magical-girl-series-here, but this time we get a genderbent.

Half of the magical country of Tōtatis  is being invaded by a dark force, and in order to restore the world to peace, a young prince is given a special mission. which is "to collect Filia/Philia, crystals of love created from kisses." *description shamelessly paraphrased from wakannaiyo

Volume 1 features a the young Kitten Dagda (CV: Suzuku Yuuto) who can transform into a kitten. In fact, the first time you meet him that is how he looks. It will be released on 2014.02.19.

Two more CDs have already been announced as well. Vol. will feature a character named Chouchou Midir (CV; Yonaga Tsubasa) and will be released on 2014.04.23, while vol.3 features Joel Dagda (CV: Takahashi Naozumi) and will be released on 2014.06.18

SxM Town [1]
More details about the series have been released. In each CD, you will meet 1 sadistic character and 1 masochistic character. The two characters have the same job, moreover, they are voiced by the same seiyuu. Through your interactions with both of them you can figure out which you like more, S or M.

In vol.1 two high school students take the spotlight. One of them Sagara Tomoya, the “manipulative S” honors student and  student council president. The other is Murashige Tamotsu, a “physical pain M” and delinquent.  Both will be voiced by Masuda Toshiki. And oh, the Dummy Head Mic will be used for certain scenes.

December News Post Vol.1

And then, out of nowhere, a news post!!! :D

I will not say it is weekly or anything, but for now it is here. And hopefully more will follow. The tiny numbers next to a series title link to tumblr posts with related translations.

Kyuuketsuki Darling
The Kyuuketsuki Darling website updated with a banner that leads to a blog post with info about the upcoming fandisks. Yes, Fandisks. Three of them are planned for now, to be released somewhere in spring 2014, and they are a sort of epilogue or after story to the original CDs.

- Vol.1: Remi Barrier (CV; Nakai Kazuya) & Tsukioka Haruki (CV: Kimura Ryouhei)
- Vol.2: William Edwards (CV: Yoshino Hiroyuki) & Azer Aslan (CV: Okamoto Nobuhiko)
- Vol.3: Katagiri Ryuuji (CV: Ono Yuuki) & Sakuraba Ryuuto (CV: Taniyama Kishou)

The Marine Entertainment website also lists "others" for each CD, so maybe more characters will appear in each CD, but it is safe to say that the two listed will be the main focus.

Fantasy Kareshi ~Dive into Fairytale~ [1][2]
Animate and Marine Entertainment are teaming up for another collaboration (their first one was Risou Kareshi). This time you become the heroine of a well known fairytale, and for each fairytale there are two characters you can fall in love with.

In the Peter Pan story you become Wendy, and you can choose between Peter and Captain Hook. In Red Riding Hood you become the titular Little Red Riding Hood, and you can choose between the Hunter (Rolan) and the Wolf (Ruu? Lou?), and finally in Hansel and Gretel you become Gretel, and you can choose between Hansel and the Magician. They turned Hansel into your half brother for this series (and the witch into a male magician). 6 CD's have been planned for now, so probably one for each character.

The seiyuu for this series have already been decided; Oosaka Ryouta, Ono Yuuki, Shimono Hiro, Suwabe Junichi, Taniyama Kishou, and Toriumi Kousuke.

But who will voice which character is up to us to decide! Animate and Marine entertainment are currently running an survey where you can choose who will voice which role. The web version can be found here. I translated all of the character descriptions in case you want to consider those while voting. Details about the voting process are also in that post.

The results of the survey will be posted somewhere in February next year, so I am guessing the releases will start several months after that. It is a long wait, but probably worth it considering that we get a say in which role the seiyuu will voice.
